Professional Engineering Licensure
The Mechanical, Electrical, and Computer Engineering degrees require students to pass the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam. This exam is the first step on the road to obtaining a Professional Engineering (PE) license. We have mapped topics taught in our courses to FE topics so that students will be prepared to pass the exam. For more information on PE requirements in the state of Utah, visit the Utah Department of Commerce website.
To register for the FE exam, visit the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying website.
